I was recently diagnosed with HSV2 through a HERPESelect blood test, about a month ago, and have been taking Valtrex. My primary outbreak was a real nightmare, with constant burning and itching. It was suggested to me by a member of another message forum to use the product Dermoplast.

That stuff is just amazing! After nearly four months of pain and irritation, that was the first product that brought any relief, and some sanity. The gal on the chat site suggested to use the "blue can, not the red." I'm finally responding to the Valtrex, but just wanted to suggest that you include Dermoplast on your product list.

Dermoplast is what they give Moms in the hospital that are recovering from having a baby. I used Dermoplast in the genital area. It is soothing on the skin where they have to sew you up from labor and delivery. I also use Dermoplast as an antibiotic when my daughter skins her knee. It's very soothing and takes the sting away from the scrape. The stuff is just good to keep around the house.
