   ISOPROPYL ALCOHOL - Have you tried it yet?  

   I have been doing a lot of reading lately and have noticed that people have been encouraged NOT to use alcohol on your herpes outbreaks because it will sting and hurt. I don't know about you but I would prefer not to be in too much pain when having a herpes outbreak. The other reason why people are told to avoid some of the OTC stuff out there (including alcohol) is because these things may actually make the situation worse than had you done nothing about your outbreak at all. - Angela
