OLIVE LEAF EXTRACT - Have you tried it?
Yes thank you. I have tried
olive leaf
extract. However for me the OB's are very frequent. I guess my immune
system is not that good. I'm going to get back on the generic form of
valtrex. I wish there was something else but nothing else seems to work.
I will keep looking on your site to see what others do. - R
Somebody wrote to ask me if olive leaf extract (also
known as OLE) was a way to cure or naturally heal the herpes virus. I feel I
must reinforce this stance,
OLE is NOT a cure for the herpes virus. There is
no way to totally and completely wipe out the herpes virus from your body
once you contract it. The scientific community is currently conducting clinical
trials on a daily basis trying to come up with either a cure OR ways to prevent
a person from contracting herpes. Olive leaf extract might be soothing to use
while you are going through a herpes outbreak but really the best defense in
quick healing time is a clinically proven herpes antiviral medication such as
Valtrex,
Acyclovir, or
Famvir.
My father-in-law died recently. He was nearly 91 years old. I was going
through his herbals and found
Olive Leaf Extract Capsules (within the
time limits for the expiration date). I had been suffering with some right eye
pain. The optometrist thought that I had a clogged gland. I was not aware of
the benefits or use of Olive Leaf Extract, but thought I might try the
recommended two capsules daily. Two days after starting, my eye pain went
away. I know that it is not the only anecdotal, but it may be significant. - S
The only proven use for
Olive Leaf Extract
(OLE) that I've been able to find so far is for lowering Blood Pressure
(BP) if you take it 4 times every day. Something to keep in mind if you
start feeling dizzy on it or if you normally have a low BP. Perhaps then
you should avoid taking OLE all together. - B
