Other Treatments and Cures People are Talking About
This is a listing of other treatment
options that people are finding
over the counter or ordering online in an attempt to treat either
their herpes outbreak, genital warts OR some other skin condition. If
you've tried some sort of herbal remedies to treat what has been ailing
you and you would like to share your news,
feel free to send it on to
me. Thanks! :]
A couple of holistic approaches that have not mean mentioned for herpes is neem. I read that neem leaf tea boosts the immune system and that neem leaf paste and/or neem seed oil can be applied to herpes lesions topically. Although, I haven't tried neem leaf tree I am experimenting with neem seed oil on my current outbreak. Furthermore, rose geranium oil is supposed to have healing properties. It smells like insect repellent which I find offensive, but some people may like it and feel differently.
I have also read that oregano oil is helpful topically and that oregano oil can be taken internally to act as an anti-viral. But, a person must take probiotics since oregano oil kills the 'good' gut flora. There are types of oregano oil capsules that apparently dissolve only when they have reached the lower intestine where they can be absorbed without killing gut flora.
Another oil I read about is Tamanu oil. It grows in South East Asia like Polynesia, Sri Lanka, South India and Malaysia and is uses for numerous skin conditions.
Please include the above in your website. I am curious to know if anyone has had any success.
There are so many remedies and I don't want to spend and waste my money on false hope which leads to disappointment and frustration. There has to be something that destroys the herpes virus' outer coating leaving it vulnerable to destruction by our immune systems.
Thank you for taking your time to read this lengthy message. -

Was interesting to see a new product for
cold sores in Walgreens yesterday - Nexcare treatment. Looks like it
has not only tea tree oil, but also vitamin E and something they call
microvex which is listed on the back as propylene glycol monolaurate -
could that be another name for
Lauricidin? I bought some to have on
hand for my next outbreak. - A
