Hi, I'm Amy. I contracted HSV my freshman year of college. Participating in local HELP groups and posting on herpes message boards really helped me handle the roller coaster of emotions I felt when I was diagnosed and in the months after. Now I would like to give something back. I'm a big believer in talking about herpes and all the 'fun' stuff that comes as part of the package. For me, being able to discuss my issues with people who understood what I was going through was a wonderful experience.
