My story
begins with the diagnoses of HSV2 December 2007. I broke out with
what I already suspected to be herpes. I went to my doctor to get
tested and diagnosed with herpes. The blood test confirmed I have
herpes.
I broke
out the year before with what I thought was herpes but a swab test
came back negative. The doctor said it may not be enough of a
sample and may give a false negative. I believe she was right.
This out break was a very bad out break. Not like my out break in
December. My boyfriend of a year at the time also had something
that resembled the same.
Since the
positive in December, my out break and four weeks later my
boyfriends out break, life is still the same for my boyfriend and
I. You see, he and I have accepted we share a disease that we can't
change, that's not our fault and that's not that big a deal. There
is no blame of who, when and where. We love each other so much that
herpes will not destroy our relationship. (True love)
My
diagnoses of HSV2 has compelled me to want to help people through
their first reaction, thoughts and feelings of their diagnoses.
Through my faith and knowing God loves me (warts and all -- LOL), I
have been able to get through this with no problem. It's just
another bump in the road.
Remember
God will never put on you more than you can bear. You are stronger
than you think. I'm here for you if you want to talk. -

Love is
patient. Love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is
not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily
angered, it keeps no records of wrongs. Love does not delight in
evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts,
always hopes, always perseveres.
