Did
you know that Yoshi2me.com was featured in Dr. Ruth's Guide to Talking about
Herpes!? If you flip to the back of the book you will see where it talks
about internet resources. Pretty exciting!?
Here are three books that I am currently reading. All three are written by a
gal who has herpes. These are the tales that she has to tell based on
her life's experiences about how she handled her diagnosis and how she
overcomes the isolation of it all. After I read these three books I will
be doing a review on each of them via my Sexual Health Blog and sharing
them with you! If you are reading these books I would love to hear from
you. Tell me what you think of the stories and how your life situation
may or may not compare to hers. I'll do the same!
I
found a couple of books that you guys might be interested in checking
out. I actually blogged about one of them over on my
Sexual Health
blog today. One of
the books is about "rubbers" and the other one is about "hooking up." I
also wanted to give a shout out to my best friend Christine. Today is
her birthday and she is 37 years old. We have been sharing our March
birthdays together since we were 12 years old. She is my best friend
from my child hood. We try and get together as much as possible and
still keep in touch to this day. I love her very much!!
 I wanted
to share something with y'all that I'm very excited about. I received a
book today in my mailbox right outside of my house. It came all the way
from France!! It's a fictitious story about a girl that discovers that
she has contracted genital herpes. The idea behind the story is not only
to entertain but to bring forth awareness into the public eye as to what
contracting herpes can do to a person physically as well as emotionally.
I'm looking forward to reading this one and will let you guys know what
I think of it when I'm done. If you decide not to wait for my review
that's fine. I would love it if you would tell me what you thought of
the book too!! |
