Herpes Personals

This page is all about dating and friendship for people that have Herpes, HPV or any other STD. You will also find mainstream online dating sites listed because I feel that you should not limit yourself to dating only those that have herpes.

If you are newly diagnosed with herpes, HPV, or any other STD please consider seeking help from a local support group in your area OR an online support group. A good online support group will not expect you to pay to ask a question, receive a response or seek support. You will find that the best support comes from people that volunteer their time to help make a difference in their community whether that be local or on the internet. (It's easy to tell which support groups care about helping people.) Keep an open mind when it comes to dating, friendship and love because you want that special someone to love and respect you for who you are and NOT what you have, right?

match.com

Match.com seems to be one of the largest online dating sites. I have heard many positive things about Match.com from folks that have Herpes. More and more I'm beginning to see a shift in the Herpes Community. People are gaining more self confidence and realizing that it's not about what you have it's about who you are. Finding somebody that cares for you and not what you have is starting to become the norm. The neat thing about Match.com is that you can browse for free. People really like this aspect of the site because it gives them the opportunity to check out some of the profiles before they decide to commit financially. Know what I mean!? Not only that but the rates are reasonable and more than fair and you can cancel at any time with no strings attached. Furthermore, it's been neat to receive all the comments from folks that have tried the site and were actually successful at finding somebody they are compatible with. So, if you're curious don't be afraid to check out Match.com. Remember, it's not about what you have it's about who you are!!

Have you tried Positive Singles?

I would be interested in knowing what your experience was like when you tried the Positive Singles dating site. I've actually heard from a few people that have posted their comments on our forum. I realize not everybody is ready to dive into mainstream dating. If that's kind of where you're at then you might want to give this personal dating site a try.

From what I'm understanding is that everybody's situation is kind of already out on the table. It's still necessary to discuss your situation with your partner but at least this way you know that you have a pretty good chance of people not defining who you are because of your health issues.

If you've established a meaningful relationship with any of the dating sites online I would love to hear from you. Send me your story so that I can post it on the site. People will read it and feel inspired. How are others going to know that there is hope if we don't share our stories? Send me yours today.

Breaking Up is Hard to do - I am in the middle of a break-up because of my situation. I told him exactly 8 days ago. He was so understanding at first and told me he would need to educate himself but he would not bail on me.

My Silly Dating Story - So you've all heard the horror stories, the stories of devastation and anger. Now hear my story and you've got to have a good laugh as I did!!! This is the story of the blonde who doesn't pay enough attention to details.
