What does my registration fee
cover?
Your $40
registration fee covers - A full Dinner, unlimited soft drinks and
unlimited beer on Friday night - helps offset the cost to make mixed
drinks $1 each for Friday night. Registration also covers a
professional DJ, wristbands, plates, cups, ice, door prizes, tent rental,
conference room, folders and photocopies for welcome packets. It
also covers catered lunch, unlimited soft drinks, water, tea and lemonade
for Saturday day as well as cups, plates, napkins and ice. Saturday
night it covers your cover charge for Lapel, unlimited finger type foods
and helps offset expense to reduce prices of drinks while in
Lapel.
I'm sure there are other things I may be missing but you can
clearly see, this is a very affordable weekend . . .
What are the age
averages of attendees?
We have attendees that range from 21 to 65.
The average attendee is 25 - 40 and generally there is a 50/50 ratio
of men to women.
Is this event just for singles?
NO. There are many couples who attended events in the past (some
actually met at one of these social events). The Indy Gathering has
always been more about rewarding friendships than just hooking up for the
weekend.
Can someone under 21 attend?
We certainly would
not push them away. However, they will not be able to attend the
portions of the event where drinks are being served.
What do I
need for registration?
When you arrive in Indy, it would be helpful if
you had your registration confirmation number (not required). When
you register you will receive a wristband that MUST be worn the entire
weekend in order to gain access to the meals and drinks. Upon
registration you will be required to sign a release of liability
waiver in order to participate. This waiver is as much for your
protection as is ours, the hotel, Lapel Bar, etc.
You will also receive information
on local tourist attraction, restaurants and shopping . . .
