I think the reason why I like it so much is because it got me through my first primary outbreak. Obviously I didn't stay with it because having to take five pills a day was not something I wanted to be part of.

Once my primary outbreak was gone my docctor switched me to Famvir. Later on I decided to stick with Valtrex because for me it worked very fast to clear up my outbreaks and to heal the skin.
