i’ve been looking around your site for the past couple days now because i’ve been waiting the results of my herpes test from my doctor. well i got them back today and they’re positive.

i am completely devastated and i don’t know right now how i’m going to move on with my life. but your site has helped me with a lot of questions i’ve had and it’s really helping me to understand what i have a little bit more.

i dont know when it will be when i’ll be able to accept that i have this. but reading true stories from other people has helped me to know that i am not alone, and that there are people who are going through the same thing i’m going through.

my biggest concern right now is telling the person i think i got it from because i don’t think he’s going to take it very well (i dont think he knows he has it because he’s never said anything to me about it) how do you tell someone that they might have herpes?

any ways i’m glad that there is a site like this out there for people like me because without something like this i think i would still just be laying in my bed under the covers pretending the world didnt exist and that i didn’t have this virus(which is what i’ve been doin for the past 3 days).

i just wanted to thank you for making a site like this and to tell you that its really helped me.

Now you have to tell your partner that you were recently diagnosed with herpes. Just be straightforward and honest about it. Maybe it’s time that your partner got tested. After all, he may have had herpes all along and just didn’t know it.
