Aww, shucks, Yoshi, I was gonna say the same thing about you! :) You’ve been helping out with the community for so long, even after I stepped out of the limelight for awhile, it was wonderful to come back and see you still doing great work.

Thank you so much Aaron for helping me out with my own little rant with some great advice. You’re so right! It’s my party and I’ll cry if I want to and it’s not my job to kiss ass and make sure everybody is happy. Nope, it’s not! Thank you so much for pointing that out. BTW, it’s really kinda cool to know that you read my blogs. I have a lot of respect for you. ;)

Yoshi,

I have found that the ratio of negative people to positive people in online communities is much higher than it is in the real world.

It just too easy for people to sit behind a computer screen and rant and rave about something that they don’t like. By adopting the “you can’t please everyone” mentality, you’ll save yourself a lot of heartache.

Plus, as you said, they are YOUR sites, so you reserve the right to do what you want! I publish almost every REAL comment (aka – not Spam) that gets written on my blog, but I have pulled the “it’s my party” card a few times and deleted comments that would have done nothing but create negativity.
