Nerve.com Media Request

Posted on Wednesday, January 23rd, 2008 at 11:03 AM

I’m writing an article for Nerve.com about online dating sites for people with STDs.

I’m looking to interview people (*anonymously, if you prefer*) who have used the sites (positivesingles.com, etc.) and (even if you haven’t used the sites) who have feelings about them one way or another.

Questions Include:

  • Have you used online dating sites for people with STDs?
  • If so, what drew you to them?
  • If not, why not?
  • Even if you haven’t used them, what’s your opinion? Are they a godsend (no Talk!), or do they (inadvertently) help reinforce the “leper”-like stigma of STDs? Or something in between/a little of both/etc.?

I’m not aiming to take one position or the other in the article; just exploring all angles.

I can assure confidentiality and sensitivity.

For my credentials, you can see www.lynnharris.net.

My deadline is tomorrow (Tuesday).

Please email me at lynn @ lynnharris.net if you’re interested in sharing what’s on your mind!

Thank you. – Lynn Harris

If you have a media request OR press release you would like posted on this blog don’t hesitate to send it to me and I will gladly repost it for you! Thanks – Angela aka yoshi2me of yoshi2me.com
