When I look at this blog and I think about my choice to remain a virgin till marriage and how I was sexually assault by a grown ass man. I report it to the assistant chief of police and they did nothing about. Anyone can wait for marriage but what about these evil man who take advantage young ladies like me who are wounded because there father walked away. That man gave me a std intentionally by putting a syringe in me and I was retested and they said I don't have that std anymore. I know Yahweh healed me. I'm trying to move past the hurt. I forgive the guy but I still scar for what he has done to me. Can anybody lean a word of encourage and what do you do when you your plan has failed not by your own choice.

Hi Sexorcism,

BTW, cute name! : )

When I think of abstinence only, I think of it being taught as just one option.

I think all options should be discussed when it comes to birth control and STD's and pregnancy prevention, etc.

I don't think abstinence by itself works.

So I believe I do agree with you Sexorcism.

I noticed you are supporting eMom too! Good Choice!

I have no problem with abstinence as long as it's been chosen freely. I have a real problem with organizations that try to force their agenda (featuring abstinence) on others.

Honestly, I don't think that abstinence only education in schools is a very realistic approach. I don't think that it works as intended. Instead, it backfires and sends young pregnant or infected people to the clinic on the sly. Safer sex education is more effective in preventing the transmission of STIs and unplanned pregnancies.
