Planned Parenthood should NOT get a Bailout
Posted on Friday, December 19th, 2008 at 10:30 AM
I was all excited about the Turducken that we are getting in the mail today, until I heard about Planned Parenthood’s Abortion Bailout Package!
Here’s what I got in my inbox today.
Yes, I felt it important enough to copy and paste and share it with you.
More and more I can not stand Planned Parenthood, Period!
A message to all members of Team Sarah
December 19, 2008
Dear Team Sarah,
Tired of bailouts?
Well they aren’t going away anytime soon. Now the abortion industry wants one!
We all knew that Planned Parenthood (the number one abortion provider in the country) was going to have a special seat at the table in the Obama administration. Well it hasn’t taken them long at all to roll out their extreme agenda.
Tell your Senator today that Planned Parenthood should not get a bailout.
Go to www.stoptheabortionbailout.com
Abortion groups have submitted their 50 page proposal to the Obama-Biden transition team. At the top of the list? More taxpayer dollars for abortion organizations like Planned Parenthood. How much more? Over 1.5 billion dollars more!
The Abortion Bailout Package:
**$1 BILLION dollars in taxpayer funding for International Abortion Groups like UNFPA, an international aid organization connected to coercive abortion as part of China’s coercive one-child policy
**$700 million in taxpayer funding for “Title X” Health Clinics (aka your local Planned Parenthood affiliate)
**Repeal the Hyde Amendment — Vastly expanding federal taxpayer funding for abortions
**Include Abortion coverage in any taxpayer-subsidized national health care program
**Expand taxpayer-funded abortions through the Peace Corps program
It is an outrage for Planned Parenthood to expect you to give your hard earned dollars to fund the destruction of innocent life.
Join citizens across our great country in telling their Senators to keep your tax dollars out of the abortion providers. Tell them to Stop the Abortion Bailout!
Sign the Petition today!

If you don’t want an abortion then don’t get one. It’s so simple.
That is not what this post is about.
Planned Parenthood should NOT be getting a bailout and certainly NOT with taxpayer dollars.
Banks and automobile companies shouldn’t be bailed out with taxpayers dollars either but they are. Why should they get a bailout? I don’t drive nor did I buy a house I knew I couldn’t afford from greedy people in the finance industry. There are many things we pay for via our tax dollars that we don’t approve of nor do we know about. Big deal.
The letter in the post is from someone from “Team Sarah [Palin]” for crying out loud, and you’re telling me it’s not about that? So Sarah Palin is pro-choice? Really? Didn’t think so. Again, if you don’t want an abortion or to be on any birth control then don’t get it. It’s sooo simple. Yet people who are opposed to women and young girls having access to these choices–some people don’t think we should have choices even in dire situations either!–are more concerned about imposing their ‘moral’ BKA religious beliefs instead of facing reality.
You do realize that President Bush has approved the so-called ‘right of conscience’ rule which means that I might face barriers to exercise my right to birth control or even other drugs to suppress herpes for example from anyone in a health care setting. Anyone meaning the janitor sweeping the floor at a clinic for crying out loud.
So, yes this post is about that and more. Now people in favor of this petition believe that LEGAL birth control pills are the same as an abortion. Not only that since I have herpes that might be ‘god’s punishment’ from the point of view of someone who is morally opposed to me getting Valtrex.
Some people get an inch and they’ll take a mile.

This is just sickening. I can’t believe they get government money at all.
Thanks for sharing.
This madness is now spinning out of control with everybody wanting to come to the table for handouts. The Obama administration has been planning on reversing a number of Pro-Life initiatives within hours of taking over the oval office. We have to rally our members of congress and senate to stop any additional funding.
Unfortunately, the new administration will push PP’s agenda to the max, and there is little to be done, (other than obviously praying) except to keep up the calls, letters, emails, and tweets to our reps, the press and to other conservatives so that there is no mistaking the opposition. Come to think of it, with enough opposition perhaps we can persuade!
a billion for abortion…… please stop this madness with the bailouts, does anyone qualify… hey, how about a billion to support child molesters and rapist, how about a billion to the porn industry to put out better movies, how about a billion to the kkk or black panthers, they are organized and probably have money problems…. BULLSH*T I say
PP is going to get more than a bailout. They will get significant funding during the Obama Presidency. This is one of the things that people were warned about, but 52% of the population of the U.S., including a significant percentage of Christians voted for this.
Elections have consequences.
Big Deal? I care about where my hard earned tax dollars are being spent. I believe I have a right to know if my tax dollars are being used wisely and I personally do care what happens. You may not care, but I do.
This post isn’t about people seeking the use of Valtrex to treat a herpes outbreak and I believe you do understand that point. Come on, you are much smarter than THAT, right?
To me abortion is not part of sexual health. I should have some say in whether or not my tax dollars go to fund somebody else’s abortion choices. I would much rather help somebody to be able to treat their outbreaks with Valtrex than to give them a free pass to abort their children.
Where is the Federal money for adoption counseling? It’s so wrong that any of our tax dollars go to encouraging abortion. It blows my mind that people can’t see that.
I don’t blame children and young adults for choosing abortion, they have been taught by liberal society & Government that it’s a good option. Despite the liberal brain washing, most children & young adults end up regretting their “choice” later in life. Those who choose to keep the baby or give it up for adoption don’t end up wishing they had had an abortion.
Any government involvement in the Abortion “choice” is wrong. Very wrong.
“This post isn’t about people seeking the use of Valtrex to treat a herpes outbreak and I believe you do understand that point. Come on, you are much smarter than THAT, right?”
The post isn’t about that but you do realize that people who are opposed to abortion (even birth control pills) may be opposed to any other medical treatment that I may be interested in. Come on, you’re much smarter than THAT, right?
“To me abortion is not part of sexual health. I should have some say in whether or not my tax dollars go to fund somebody else’s abortion choices. I would much rather help somebody to be able to treat their outbreaks with Valtrex than to give them a free pass to abort their children.”
That’s fine if abortion isn’t part of sexual health for YOU. But you cannot dictate that to me or anyone else who feel otherwise. That would be like me saying that treating someone who has an STI isn’t part of sexual health because they made their choice to have sex and now they have to suffer the consequences. Because the person now suffering from an STI has made their bed and has to lie in it, right? Didn’t think so.
Will Obama reverse this so-called right of conscience rule? I sure hope so. The social consequences of people having unwanted children is far greater than the abortion procedure itself. People who object to me having a safe abortion is like telling me that my body isn’t mine. You don’t have that right and I will fight for my right to choose.
We are talking about abortion and not other healthcare initiatives. Planned Parenthood is in a lot of hot water right now. Not only are they in the abortion industry but they are covering up and breaking the law, especially in Indiana and heaven knows where else. Perhaps you should scroll down and watch those videos I’ve posted.
My tax dollars should not go to an organization that plans on ignoring a child’s age, neglecting to call the proper authorities when the situation warrants it, and performing hundreds if not thousands abortions every single year. I should have a right to decide where my tax dollars are being spent.
That money is better spent on helping to fund clinics that do not perform abortions, cover up the law, and neglect to get the authorities involved when the situation warrants it. (Go watch those videos)
My tax dollars should not go towards funding YOURS or anybody’s abortions. You can’t compare contracting an STD to aborting a baby. Sorry, that just doesn’t fly with me.
You can fight for your right to choose but you don’t have the right to take MY money and use it for your abortion.
Adoption is another feasible alternative but people are WAY to selfish to go that route I guess.
Thank you so much for the website and for letting me know on twitter (scrosnoe) I look forward to keeping in touch!
Blessings,
Sandie
How about taking my money and making war all over the world and killing hundreds of thousands. Wrap your little minds around that as you complain about a group committed to making abortion a rare thing. Best strategy is to help them stop pregnancy in the first place, and while we are at it lets work on peace for a change.
How is Planned Parenthood interested in making abortion a rare thing when they are smack dab in the middle of the abortion industry?
All the bailouts are outrageous. While the fat cats are hanging out at spas, the taxpayers paying for it are losing their homes. It’s out of hand. Bailouts for controversial situations such as these are out of the question.
I could not agree more! Thank you for your comment on this issue.
