The SSNA Mission Statement

By definition an alliance is a close association of nations or other groups, formed to advance common interests or causes. The Social Support Networking Alliance (SSNA) is a committed collaboration of various networks that support the STD Community.

Those affiliated with the SSNA have taken on the every day challenges of bringing support, education, social interaction and outreach to the forefront of today's society. All those affiliated with the SSNA have made an undocumented commitment to maintain all members, visitors and guests' level of privacy and to use complete discretion when forming a partnership with any person, organization or business wishing to become a part of this alliance.

It is solely up to the members of any group, organization or business affiliated with the SSNA to establish the level of disclosure pertaining to identity and personal information. The SSNA will not disclose such private information under any circumstances.

By becoming an active participant of any group associated with the SSNA members take soul responsibility of following each organizations terms, conditions, guidelines and policies. The SSNA does not govern such policies held by affiliated entities. However, each group, organization or website that is maintained by the founder's of the SSNA will keep all information private while providing databases that are free and accessible for member's to list their own private information at their own discretion. Once members utilize such databases they are free to edit and delete information as they see necessary. The SSNA and affiliated organizations cannot be held responsible for events that arise from the personal disclosure of private information.

The SSNA is committed to maintaining a site that advertises and promotes active groups, events and information that are current. Should a group, event or organization wish to become listed on the SSNA, they need only to contact the administrator for possible consideration. The SSNA maintains the right to refuse or edit information to make it suitable and in compliance with the SSNA and its promotion guidelines.
